Pegasus Education 

Pegasus’s educational programmes are an integral part of our work. We create bespoke projects for schools who in partnership with our tutors create exciting educational experiences for the students. This unique opportunity stimulates and expands the young people’s creative minds, as they explore and develop projects centered around opera. Learning about set design, costumes, directing and many aspects of opera, helping them to think out the box and of course underpinned by learning more about their own voices and healthy vocal production.

 

Pegasus has over 23 years experience in delivering

educational workshops in schools throughout

London Boroughs and the regions, including

Westminster, Lambeth, Haringey, Southwark,

Lewisham, Brent, Hackney, Barnet, Havering,

Enfield, Hornchurch and many others. We have

presented educational workshops to accompany

virtually every opera in our repertoire, to thousands

of school children.

For our projects our creative team work one day per

week over a 5-6 weeks period in schools,

introducing pupils to opera, working to create costumes, learn music, develop their singing skills and stage a scene, and then perform to their peers.
